| "Since I was seventeen years old driving has been my livelihood". In 1972 Mike was an H.G.V driver working with the top names in the road haulage business. In 1990 Mike decided it was time for a career change where he could continue his love for driving. Mike gained his Approved Driving Instrutor award (A.D.I ) and aquired a franchise with a well known UK driving school.
After aproximately six months Mike realised that many of his new clients where in fact referals from previous students he succesfully taught to drive. It was this moment that Mike decided to set up his own driving school, which would be known as Mike Light Academy Driver Training. Since then the Academy has become one of Cheltenham's best reputed driving schools, with 'Expert' tuition from a very experienced tutor who is patient, friendly and will get you through your test effortlessly.
